Octoberfest

Oktoberfest is a 16-day festival celebrating beer held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Since you can't always get up and travel there, why not throw an Octoberfest of your own. Instead of a 16- day festival try one day with family and friends. Root beer for the kids or cream soda since they look a little like beer and for the adults have beer. You can also throw in some games like corn hole and bob for apples. Or build a picture stand out of plywood and paint beer maidens or other folk on them and cut out the faces.
